AffSphere - An Imporant New Article Directory

POSTED BY Dave on May 14 under Article Tools

You might not have heard about AffSphere yet, but you’re going to hear more and more about it in the coming weeks and months.

AffSphere is a rather unique article directory, developed by the folks that brought you Affiliate Classroom. I won’t take you through Affiliate Classroom in this piece, because it’s a different topic. However, if you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly recommend it: Affiliate Classroom.

Back to the topic at hand …

Like most article directories, AffSphere is free to join. That’s where the comparisons to other articles directories stop. AffSphere not only posts your articles on their website, they also distribute them to other article directories. Much the same as Article Marketer, except that AffSphere doesn’t charge you for the distribution of your articles.

In addition, they’ve set up the system so that you can earn money in eight different ways with your articles. So … not only are your articles driving traffic to your website or your affiliate link, they’re also making you money at the same time.

Do you have to do anything special to earn this money? Nothing at all! Just write and submit your articles. It’s as easy as that.

They’ve got a video set up on the front page that will give you a brief introduction to the program, and another video that explains the eight different ways to monetize your articles. Find out for yourself … AffSphere.

Internet Weapons Quick Poll

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 29 under Tracking Tools

I’ve been trying to add more quality content lately, content that either reviews current programs honestly or teaches a marketing technique or simply shares a great resource. Unfortunately, I realized that I’ve been doing this rather blindly. I haven’t really had a solid grasp on the kinds of information and assistance that you may desire.

So I’ve put together a short poll (we’re talking less than thirty seconds) that will help me to deliver future content more in alignment with what you really want here at Internet Weapons. At the end of the poll, you’ll be redirected to a download page, where I’ve arranged for you to receive a free report titled Affiliate World. I think you’ll like it.

Here’s the link to the poll: Internet Weapons Quick Poll

Please do invest the brief thirty seconds. I know your time is valuable, and that’s why I’ve made an effort to keep this process short and to the point. With your input, I’ll be able to design future posts far more in alignment with your Internet marketing needs than I am now.

Thank you for your input! It’s very much appreciated.

Blog Classroom

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 27 under Blogging Tools

Do you currently have a blog?

We hear so much about “opt-in” pages and landing pages, but what most people overlook is the power of a blog.

A blog is an incredible way to get natural traffic. There’s something about the way blogs are set-up, their natural appeal to the search engines, their easy integration to Web 2.0, user-friendliness and ease of installation and use that makes blogging so powerful.

Now, let me ask again … do you have your blog up yet?

If the installation is causing you to hesitate, believe me, there’s nothing to it. All you need is ten minutes and a few good coaching videos. In fact, there are free tools you can use that will install the blog for you automatically.

Don’t believe me? Let me invite you to see for yourself…

Blog Classroom

I joined the original Blog Classroom membership site a year or so ago. The result was several blogs that are now up and running, including the one you’re on at this very moment.

Now, Rosalind Gardner and Anik Singal have put together an amazing pre-course leading up to the official launch of their new Blog Classroom.

This new version is far more encompassing. It will include over 100 videos on all aspects of blogging, plus a four-week hands on Webinar coaching program. Will you learn all about blogging? Definitely. Will you learn how to monetize your blogs? Definitely.

There’s nothing about blogging that won’t be covered. You’ll come away knowing it all.

If you know blogging is something you want to do, or need to learn more about, then go ahead and get signed up to be notified about the launch. You’ll also receive several free videos and homework assignments to get you started immediately.

When I took the course, I found it invaluable. Now, it’s even better.

Find out for yourself: Blog Classroom

Update: they’ve just added a double-your-money back guarantee. Does that tell you how sure they are that this course will give you everything you need to be successful at blogging?

Automate Your Content

POSTED BY Dave on Apr 18 under Website Building

We all know that content is king on the Internet. Users search for it. Web publishers provide it. And when you provide what they’re looking for, everyone’s happy.

Unfortunately, preparing unique premium content on a regular basis (which keeps the search engines happy and the visitors coming) can be incredibly demanding.

With that in mind, I wanted to share with you some alternatives that can help lift some of the burden off your shoulders without causing your search engine positioning to suffer.

1. RSS - RSS allows users to display specific files every time they are uploaded on a source website. For example, if website A generates RSS feeds to announce new articles uploaded to its server. Websites B, C, D and E are subscribed to these RSS feeds, so they can display the content of the feeds on their web pages. In order to do this, all you need is an RSS-to-HTML reader, so that the RSS feeds you will display on your pages can be readable for the search engine spiders. Now, every time the source website posts new content, it will appear on your website.

2. Create Your Own Forum - Online users normally gravitate toward forums that are dedicated to their own passions. If you attach a forum to your website, your visitors can sign up to participate. Since it’s related to a subject they’re passionate about, they’ll create threads, answer one another’s questions, post messages and generally keep the forum alive an healthy, by creating content for you. The one caveat here is that a forum with no activity will quickly die. You don’t want visitors going to your forum and finding nothing going on. They’ll leave immediately.

3. Integrate A Feedback Manager - If you’re posting articles as content, then consider including a feedback system. This enables your readers to leave comments below the articles. It’s free content … your article serves as the catalyst for content that is continuously added by interested readers who want to share their thoughts on what you’ve posted.

4. Run A Contest - Offering a prize for the visitor who submits the most engaging article relevant to the subject of your website is a wonderful way to encourage your visitors to submit entries that you can use as your own content. Just remember that your contest rules should include a term which states that submitted entries can be published on your website as a condition to their inclusion in the contest.

5. Run A Mini-Article Directory - Try to visit Ezine Articles or Go Articles. See how these websites ensure themselves of an abundant supply of great content? Simply follow their model, and implement the same on your website. An article directory is relatively easy to set up, and you won’t have to struggle to get a flood of fresh daily content.
